The Cruelty Stops (not political)

I have resisted blogging about the removal of children from their parents at the border and now that the policy has changed somewhat, I feel compelled to offer an opinion.

We all have our opinions and love to argue in the abstract because we have little to lose in the discussion. However, the removal of young children from their parents is barbaric and inhumane and this is what the Nazis did 80 years ago. Whatever your opinion is on securing the border and 'there are good people on both sides,' how we treat children is a different matter.

Taking children away from parents is too hard to watch and I am happy that the government agreed to change the policy.
